Eastern Lights

Haddon Hall

Haddon Hall, near Bakewell, is renowned for its beautiful medieval leaded glass windows.

The Long Gallery was designed to allow family members dressed in their finest clothing to excercise and take in the beautiful views without being exposed to the outside weather.

The spectacular light in the Long Gallery is created by the use of diamond panes of glass in the windows, these are each set at different angles. Eastern Lights depicts the magnificent East Window at the far end of the gallery

This framed original embroidery is sold.
Giclee prints taken from the original artwork are available
