Melbourne Festival Art & Architecture Trail

Melbourne Festival Art & Architecture Trail

September 20th & 21st 2025

Stonelea, 64 Potter Street, Melbourne, DE73 8DW

Melbourne Festival’s Art & Architecture Trail features work by some of the Midlands’ best creative artists exhibiting their work in gardens, halls and local homes not usually open to the public in the heart of Melbourne, Derbyshire.

I was delighted to take part in this prestigious event for the first time in 2022 and to return again in 2023.

For both 2022 and 2023 I was lucky to be allocated the wonderful venue of Stonelea on the corner of Potter St. and Castle St. and I will be returning there in 2025

The trail consists of easy-walking loops around the central streets of Melbourne and can be started at any point. The Trail Guide consists of a map of Melbourne with festival sites marked and details of buildings and the artists they are hosting.

Street parking in Melbourne is very limited however there are Park & Ride services from Tori & Ben’s Farm Shop at Kings Newton DE73 8DD or at Melbourne Schools in Packhorse Road DE73 8JE for £5 per car with a regular shuttle bus to the Fire Station in Castle Street.
