Finestra Selvagge
Somewhere in Italy

In a break from my usual creative process Finestra Selvagge (Wild Window) was inspired by an image, not seen and photographed by me, but shared on Mastodon by Janine Pendleton, @ObsidianUrbex
The inspirational photograph depicted Greenhouse Rosa, an abandoned glasshouse located in a picturesque thermal spa town in Italy and I was particularly drawn by the twining vines and rusty window frames.
If you want to see the photo which inspired me, along with other shots of Greenhouse Rosa, you can find them on Janine’s website here
This framed original embroidery is for sale
